The 2012 Audi A7 Collects Multiple Car of the Year Awards

The 2012 Audi A7 is collecting accolades right and left, being named Automobile of the Year by Automobile Magazine, the Motor Press Guild, the Active Lifestyle Program, and Esquire Magazine

Audi, understandably proud of their creation, says that 'the A7 is the perfect fusion of style, luxury and technology. Every detail, from the sensuous curvature of the body to the impeccably crafted interior, delivers a striking visual statement. Each line, each edge, each piece of technology has a purpose, subtly reflecting the vibrant dynamism of sporty elegance. From the groundbreaking MMI touchpad and its gracefully integrated display screen, to the state-of-the-art Head Up Display, the A7 is the perfect marriage of progressive design and sophisticated engineering. Piloting the A7 is an experience in true exhilaration. It is a moving sculpture, designed to propel you forward. Combining Intelligent, lightweight engineering with a wealth of power under the hood, the A7 offers superior handling, efficiency and performance for pure driving pleasure. In the A7, the vehicle's inherent vitality and evolved technologies combine to carry the Audi legacy forward in a bold expression of progressive luxury.'

Automobile Magazine declares that 'the closer you get to the A7, the better it looks. Slip inside, and it looks better still. The Audi-liscious interior does not disappoint. It's modern and luxurious yet cosseting and comfortable, mile after mile.'  The Motor Press Guild stated that the 2012 Audi A7 'managed to edge out the competition with its compelling combination of handsome styling, dynamic handling and advanced in-car technology.'  'The Car of the Year should be lust worthy and stylish, but it should also be good value, attainable for the average man. It should confidently ferry your boss to lunch yet never suggest that you've spent unnecessarily. It should swallow your commute as easily as a cross-country trip and inhale a winding back road as if it hasn't eaten for days. Practical shouldn't look like this or drive this well. It never has before, and given where the car industry is headed, it might never do so again. But for now, we've got the Audi A7, the Car of the Year. It gets no better,' enthuses Esquire.
